ABOUT

Siddhant, a Patna based digital creator who will take you to the whole journey of his life.

Hi,

This is Siddhant from Patna, Bihar. I'm really thankful to my parents as they did a lot for me. My family migrated to Patna from my village Bakhtiyarpur when I had finished studies of 2nd standard in Vimla Vidhyalaya, Bakhtiyarpur. I was studying in State Board (Bihar Board). As there was less scope of education & career in the village so I moved to Patna with my family members. My grandfather always encouraged my father to send me to Patna for further studies.

After shifting to Patna, I got admission to one of the schools in Patna & their condition was to start my school career from the beginning as I was from the Hindi medium,i.e, State Board (Bihar Board). I had no option so I gave a test- interview & cleared it on a merit basis & the school authority got ready to give admission in UKG. I know that it sounds weird but I have to accept this bitter truth because my three years got wasted due to the mentality of school management. It was difficult to cope up with English medium people and a new city. Although I was able to adjust as time passed. I'm not that kind of academic bookish student but I was creative since childhood that's why today you're able to read my blog journey. I believe in practical rather than theoretical and I wish the education system of India changes soon and focus more on the practical and creative field. I'm a huge & die-hard fan of the Indian Armed Forces since childhood.

I shifted to Bangalore for a year. I became a part of the media team in one of the campus and covered all the events. I also volunteered in V-Fest, a fest by V Channel for campus around India but I covered only one campus in Bangalore and It was great to work in that event. I started loving photography and wanted to learn more every moment. I worked for six months as a Head in Photography & Media team in one of the startups in Bangalore.

In 2015, I moved back to my city, Patna for further studies. I tried to keep a balance between studies, as well as photography as I also got placed in IndiGo Airlines in pool campus placement in Amity University (5th sem) where 300+ candidates appeared for the interview from different colleges & only five were able to clear all rounds. And I got graduated on 3rd November 2018.

I always wanted to do further studies, i.e, complete my post-graduation in MBA. During 2018-20, my life went through a lot of ups and downs so I couldn't pursue an MBA at that time. Somehow I prepared for MBA entrance and also kept myself engaged with freelancing, learning new things and gaining skills. Later I finally enrolled in the MBA programme in one of the prestigious colleges of India in 2020.

My Camera:

I've used different cameras (mostly phone cameras) as my photography has evolved & I hope it improved.

  • Current Phone Camera (Since October 2021): iPhone 12 Mini
  • Current Camera (Since January 2017): Canon 750D
  • August 2017 to October 2021 - iPhone 7+
  • December 2015 to August 2017 - iPhone 6S
  • August 2015 to December 2015 - iPhone 5
  • March 2015 to August 2015 - Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo
  • January 2015 to March 2015 - Moto E
  • Late 2014 to Mid 2015 - Canon 1200D
  • 2014 - Samsung Galaxy Note 2

In earlier days, I used Canon 1200D for some time. But later I've mostly used a phone camera till now as I found it too heavy for carrying around day-to-day as well as for travel. My favourite phone camera was an iPhone 6S. I love the picture quality of this smartphone. Currently, I'm using an iPhone 7+ camera for day-to-day activity.

My current lenses are:

Canon 18-55mm STM Lens
Canon 55-250mm

When I started blogging, the photos which I took were mostly of objects & travel. These days I enjoy taking photographs of food, covering events happening in the city & many more. Recently I've started my own YouTube channel named Backpacker SID & posted my first video on 14th August 2019. As of now, I keep learning & improving my work as well as focusing on further studies.

I also do book reviews and I've received 50+ collaborations till now. You can check out my book reviews on my other Instagram handle - My Instagram id of Book Review: soulonadventure

At last but not least, I would like to tell you that I love experimenting. Life is not about only one thing so we should do an experiment to understand ourselves, expand the work, and enhance our skills too.

This is the reason I choose & work in various niches. I don't run for the numbers (followers, likes & comments) and that's the thing that motivates me to explore every creative field because I am always keen to learn new things and share my knowledge with everyone. I believe that if any person is worried about post engagement then he or she won't be able to focus on the content. We are already living in a modern era where social media is impacting the mind of people. I don't want to ruin my creativity by worrying about such things.

You'll get to see detailed information about tourism, food, events, book & many more on my social media handle such as Instagram, etc. I like to target my audience from all the creative sectors and not only just one.

Someday I wish to write my own book. Let's keep the fingers crossed and hope for the best :)

So follow & support me on my social media handles for more updates.

Thank You.
